I've played this clown a few times in front of audiences. In one showing, I followed the clown's excitement as they explained they'd driven across London Bridge, and how utterly profound that was for them as an experience. I'm not sure, but I think there's something here about watching someone allow themselves be enraptured by the ordinary, a being who finds everything endlessly fascinating.
